Does cognitive reserve differentially impact decline among younger patients with MCI? Lead Investigator: Paula Aduen Institution : University of Virginia E-Mail : aduen.pa@gmail.com Proposal ID : 1033 Proposal Description: Studies have found that cognitive reserve may mitigate the progression of primarily psychomotor and executive deficits in older adult patients with MCI, primarily amnestic type. The current research proposal aims to examine whether this is a factor that also impacts decline trajectory/diagnostic conversion in younger patients (<59, 60-64) with memory deficits.
